Location: The encounter took place on the night between December 20 and 21, 2025, in the Gangoh area of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Circumstances: STF received intelligence that Siraj had entered Saharanpur from the Punjab-Haryana border to execute a major crime. During a chase between Madhi Majra and Salarpura villages, Siraj opened fire on the police. He was fatally wounded in the retaliatory firing and declared dead at a hospital.

Funeral: Siraj’s body was taken to his native village in Sultanpur. Reports indicate a massive crowd of approximately 4,000 people gathered for his funeral, leading to a heavy police presence to maintain order.
