Pehlu Khan Lynching Case
On 1 April,2017 a dairy farm trader from the Nuh Village in Haryana was lynched by a group of around 200 cow vigilants of communal fanatics. His crime? He was a dairy trader and wanted to buy a cow tonuse it for milk trade. There were only 10 dairy traders in his district so he wanted to increase his business by increasing the number of milching cows. The night guard of the urchins were on the look out for meat traders who take the cows for slaughter because they have the blind faith of cows being goddess. The frantic tactics of such fanatics are at the peak under the present system. And there have been a few more such incidents of mob lynching by urchins.
Pehlu Khan had the documents with him from civic authorities that the cows were purchased for the dairy products. Despite that the mob blinded by their dogma went ahead with their assault on him and his companions. The culprits looted lakhs of rupees from them and made videos do the assault too. Surisingly and shockingly all the accused who were arrested on the basis of the videos recording were set free on the basis of 'benefit of doubts.'
