Manipur Violence-2023

Tuesday, 9 May,2023: The Manipur state government has officially accepted death of 60 people so far in the recent violence in the state. It has also said that 30000 displaced people due to the violence have been moved to a safe location and still 10000 people are displaced waiting to be moved.
The state wide violence erupted on 3 May 2023 after a high decree to consider Meitei tribals also to be included in the official gazette of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. The Kuki tribes are against it. 
All Tribal Students Union Manipur had called for a solidarity march the violence is said have erupted after it. However the situation is reported to be peaceful and under control.

Fraticide by 15 year old Gav Sevak

    15-year-old boy has been detained in  Gujarat for the murder of his elder brother and his pregnant sister-in-law at their home in the  Khodiyar Ashram  in Shobhavadala village, Junagadh district in Gujarat. The incident occurred on October 16, 2025 , but was uncovered by police around October 31 after the sister-in-law's family in Bihar became suspicious.  His mother too is suspected to have assisted him in his crime though not in murdering the victims but in disposing off the corpses.
