Priya Rajvansh Murder Case

Priya Rajvansh was Indian actress popularly known for her charismatic role in Heer Ranjha movie. Her real name was Vera Sunder Singh. She was the discovery of Chetan Anand for the Bollywood and hence they both remained in a cordial and close relationship throughout their lives. After the death of Chetan Anand dispute appeared between her and two sons of late Chetan Anand Ketan Anand and Vivek Anand. Although she had inherited some property after the death of Chetan Anand through a will the dispute centred around a bungalow at Ruia Park, Juhu which was owned by Chetan Anand.
She was found murdered on 7 March 2000 at the same bungalow. And on the basis of some handwritten notes by Priya Rajvansh to Vijay Anand brother of late Chetan Anand who also was a Bollywood director and producer Ketan Anand and Vivek Anand were convicted and sentenced alongwith their house helps Chinnaswamy and Mala.

    15-year-old boy has been detained in  Gujarat for the murder of his elder brother and his pregnant sister-in-law at their home in the  Khodiyar Ashram  in Shobhavadala village, Junagadh district in Gujarat.
