Maya Dolas

 Mahindra Dolas alias Maya Dolas was born and brought in a Mumbai slum. He was born on 15 October 1966 and died in the most famous police encounter famously known as Shootout at Lokhandwala Complex on16 November 1991. He was an ITI passout. But at an early age he joined the Ashok Joshi Gang and successfully ran and managed extortion rackets. Later on he rose in rank and joined D-Company of Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar.

Additional Police Commissioner Aftab Alam Khan was tipped about the hideout of Maya Dolas in Complex in an appartement which belonged to Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar. He was hiding there with four more hardcore criminal one among them was Dilip Buwa. ACP Aftab Alam Khan led the shootout with Anti Terror Squad (ATS). The shootout was recorded live.

The Lokhandwala Shootout went in for four hours and Maya Dolas was hit by 100 bullets. Dilip Buwa who was an expert sharp shooter of the D-Company was also shot dead in the encounter. Dilip Buwa was a mentor to his protege Chota Rajan.
