Arun Gawali


Arun Gulab Gavali also known as Arun Ahir is a mobstet turned politician from central Mumbai area of Byculla and Chinchpokli. His cousin brother Sachin Ahir too is a seasoned politician.
Arun Gavali began his life as a textile mill worker in Chinchpokli area. Those days textiles mills were facing multiple strikes. Due to which a few of the mills had to close down which rendered Arun Gawali unemployed or jobless. To earn his daily needs he had to resort to quick buck route of matka trading and hafta vasooli(Protection Money). Later on he joined Byculla Company, mafia gang in the Byculla and Chinchpokli area which was jointly run by Amar Naik and Babu Resham. Later on Babu Resham was eliminated in an encounter by the police. Arun Gavali took charge of the Byculla Company after the demise of Babu Resham. 
Arun Gavali rab his gang from his den Dagdi Chawl. It is said once D-Company and Byculla Company used to work in tandem. But later on Kishor Ahir brother of Arun Gawali who was also as Pappa Gavali was killed by D-Company over some financial dispute. Thereafter it became tug of war between the two companies and Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar and Arun Gawali had become bête noire for each other.
Later on Arun Gawali was arrested by the Mumbai Police and was sentenced. He then formed a political party Akhil Bhartiya Sena. Arun Gawali is said to be the first Marathi Mafia from Mumbai.

Fraticide by 15 year old Gav Sevak

    15-year-old boy has been detained in  Gujarat for the murder of his elder brother and his pregnant sister-in-law at their home in the  Khodiyar Ashram  in Shobhavadala village, Junagadh district in Gujarat. The incident occurred on October 16, 2025 , but was uncovered by police around October 31 after the sister-in-law's family in Bihar became suspicious.  His mother too is suspected to have assisted him in his crime though not in murdering the victims but in disposing off the corpses.
