Aditya Rana Encounter

 Bijnor police from the state of Uttar Pradesh has shot dead last night on Tuesday 11 April, 2023 Aditya Rana who had earlier escaped from its custody. A reward of Rs.2.5 lakhs  was announced on any information about him. He was tipped to be hiding the forest of Sayohara in Bijnor. The police team surrounded his hide out. A fierce gun fight began in which 5 policemen are said to have suffered injuries. Aditya Rana too was injured in the process and he was rushed to a hospital where succumbed to his injuries during the treatment.

Aditya Rana lived in Rana Nangal village with his family. He was selected for job position in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). In 2013 he was to leave his village to join the CRPF training programme but he couldn't do it as a case against him for murdering Dharamveer in Qasimabad village was registered. That was his first criminal case registered against him. Till date he had a total of 43 cases registered against him in various police stations. Of which 6 cases involve murder charges and 13 cases involve roberry charges and the rest others.

He had escaped from the police custody on previous two occassions in 2017 and 2022. He had once surrendered himself in court of law in 2018.

In his recent escape Aditya Rana was being taken to the Bijnor court for deposition from Lucknow Central Jail. The police stopped at a hotel at Shahjahanpur for taking their meals where he sought an opportunity and escaped from their custody. Last night Special Operation Group(SOG) police team laid a trap for him after getting information about hideout in the jungle. Gunfires were exchanged as the SOG team tried to nab Aditya Rana.

 Uttar Pradesh police have identified 48 members in his gang of which 6 have already been arrested.

Fraticide by 15 year old Gav Sevak

    15-year-old boy has been detained in  Gujarat for the murder of his elder brother and his pregnant sister-in-law at their home in the  Khodiyar Ashram  in Shobhavadala village, Junagadh district in Gujarat.
