The recent ₹7.11 crore Bengaluru cash van heist was a well-planned, insider-assisted robbery that was solved within 60 hours by the city police, leading to three arrests and the recovery of most of the stolen money.  Heist Details Date and Time: The daylight robbery occurred around midday on November 19, 2025. Location : The incident happened near the Ashoka Pillar area in Jayanagar as the cash van was transporting money from an HDFC Bank branch. Modus Operandi : A gang of 6-8 men in an SUV, posing as officials from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) with a fake government sticker, intercepted the cash van. They convinced the security staff to get into their vehicle for "verification" and forced the van driver to continue driving. The cash boxes were later shifted to the getaway vehicle on the Dairy Circle flyover, and the staff was abandoned. A car bomb exploded near the Red Fort metro station in Delhi on Monday evening ( November 10, 2025 ), killing at least 13 people and injuring more than 20 others. The Indian government has called it a "terrorist incident," and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe.  Key Details Location and Time : The explosion occurred in a slow-moving Hyundai i20 car at a traffic signal near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station at approximately 6:52 pm on Monday . Casualties : The blast killed 13 people and wounded more than 20. The victims included e-rickshaw drivers and daily wage workers. A man has been charged with 11 counts of attempted murder in connection to a mass stabbing on a London-bound train on Saturday, November 1, 2025, and a separate incident at a London Underground station earlier that same day.  Authorities charged a 32-year-old man from Peterborough with 10 counts of attempted murder for the train incident, one count for the DLR incident, and two counts of possessing a bladed article.     15-year-old boy has been detained in  Gujarat for the murder of his elder brother and his pregnant sister-in-law at their home in the  Khodiyar Ashram  in Shobhavadala village, Junagadh district in Gujarat. The incident occurred on October 16, 2025 , but was uncovered by police around October 31 after the sister-in-law's family in Bihar became suspicious.  His mother too is suspected to have assisted him in his crime though not in murdering the victims but in disposing off the corpses. The family is a migrant family from Bihar and mother of the accused had become a sadhvi - a devoted saint after the death of her husband.
